My Malheur Summer w/ Emilee Gooch

The Friends of Malheur NWR is turning 25 in 2024 and to commemorate this milestone, we are celebrating every month with a special guest speaker. For August's presentation, we welcome Friends of Malheur NWR Seasonal Biological Technician Emilee Gooch.

Emilee is heading into her senior year at Northern Michigan University and spent her summer getting her hands dirty and feet wet in her very first field position. In this presentation Emilee shares highlights from her summer at Malheur NWR from aquatic surveys to community outreach! She even shares her highlight which was an opportunity to travel to Modoc NWR and band young sandhill cranes!
