This video is all about the golden jubilee celebration of Constitution of Pakistan, The Constitution of 1973 was adopted by the Parliament of Pakistan on April 10, 1973 and it is enforced in whole Pakistan on August 14, 1973.

There is no Constitution in Pakistan in 1970. Legal Framework Order 1970 is enforced by General Yahya Khan in country under which Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto becomes CMLA and President of Pakistan and PPP being the largest elected party oAsma f West Pakistan formed government in Parliament. Afterwards PPP drafted and passed the Interim Constitution of 1972
which is enforced in country till August 13, 1973.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan under its judgment in case of Asma Jilani vs Province of Punjab and others PLD 1972 SC 139, valdates the parliament elected by the 1970 Elections under the Condonation principles which provides that acts of usurper or evil man can be condoned in a greater public interest. They held that though the General Ayoub and Yahya Khan are userpers and their act of abrogation of Constitution shall not be legit but the holding of election by him is condoned in a greater public interest. Thus the assembly formed due to the elections is alo legal and shall be entitled to frame Constitution.

The Supreme Court in its judgment in a case of Begum Nusrat Bhutto vs COAS and Fed of Pakistan PLD 1977 SC 657 also validate the Constitution of 1973 and held that the majority members of assembly are absent from the assembly voluntarily they are not restrained by anyone to reach the assembly. Thus, the members which are present in an assembly must meet the basic requirement of 2/3 majority to pass the Constitution and as the present Constitution is passed by majority of the votes therefore it is remained enforce but for the time being under the principle of necessity it can be suspended as soon as the circumstances allow it shall be enforced.

The Constitution of 1973 consist of 280 articles, 4 schedules and 26 amendments are made in the Constitution till to date.
