Rolex Daytona “Beach” ref. 116519
Rolex released a special edition of the white gold Daytona in the early 2000s, complete with colorful dials and leather bracelets to match. The collection was appropriately nicknamed the “Beach” Daytona and has since become a very prized collector’s item. We are fortunate enough to add one to our catalog.
The four models include green and turquoise stone dials and pink and yellow Mother-of-Pearl dials, each topped with white gold Roman numeral hour markers. If you’re familiar with the Rolex portfolio, you will agree that this vibrant series is a departure from what Rolex typically offers.
However, aside from the unusual dial options, ref. 116519 is every bit a classic Cosmograph Daytona with a rotatable Tachymeter bezel, coordinating registers on the dial, pushers above and below the crown, and a self-winding movement.

Rolex Sky-Dweller ref. 326934
Rolex wowed horology enthusiasts worldwide when they released the Sky-Dweller in 2012. In addition to being the first completely new Rolex model in years, the Sky-Dweller also brought with it a rather polarizing design set compared to typical Rolex standards.
The case was larger than usual but was perfectly on-trend with emerging watch tastes. The Sky-Dweller also debuted their most complicated movement yet, the cal. 9001, complete with an annual calendar, a date mechanism, and dual-time capabilities.
The Sky-Dweller debuted in precious metal only, making the ref. 326934 of particular interest because it pairs the white gold bezel with a stainless steel case and bracelet. It’s arguably more wearable than references produced in only gold and also boasts a more attractive price tag.

Platinum Rolex Presidential Day Date ref. 228206
The Day-Date debuted in 1956 in yellow gold. Since that time, it has only ever been produced in either gold or platinum, a true testament that it was and always will be a symbol of power, success, and class.
While we certainly love the models produced in white and yellow gold, there’s just something about the weight and luster of 950 platinum. If you have the budget to invest, reference 228206 is the Day-Date to buy.
It features a contemporary 40mm case, up 4mm from the traditional 36mm editions, a sleek bezel, and the Day-Date’s signature President bracelet with semi-circular links. The example we got out hands on also features an icy blue diagonal motif dial and Chromalight plots that glow bright blue in the dark and remain crisp white during the day.

White Gold Rolex King Midas ref. 9630
The King Midas Rolex is the holy grail of vintage watches, boasting a truly unique design set and a fascinating history.
As the story goes, Rolex released the King Midas in 1962 initially as a limited series. However, it soon became a fixture of the brand’s catalog boasting countless editions through the years.
It earned its name after King Midas himself, who could turn everything he touched with his left hand into gold. The unique design of the case mirrors that of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. It also features a left-hand design as an apparent nod towards King Midas.
Reference 9630 is a stunning white gold edition with a matching silver dial, an integrated bracelet closed by a butterfly clasp, and a hand-wound movement.

Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Collection ref. SLGH005
Grand Seiko produces some of the best dials in the watch industry. The attention to detail is insane, often featuring perfectly faceted hour markers, sharp hands, and unique textures and dial colors.
Ref. SLGH005 is a stunning Evolution 9 inspired by the white birch trees that grow in Shizukuishi near Grand Seiko’s watchmaking studio. If you’re familiar with the brand, you won’t be surprised by the watch’s design as they often use the surrounding area near their studio as inspiration.
The dial features a similar depth and texture as the white birch trees in the forest in Shizukuishi. According to Grand Seiko, by inspecting the intricate details of the dial, you will experience the same feeling of peace and wonderment as those who visit the forest.
