Afternoon In Paris - Jazz Improvisation Lesson in 5 LEVELS

Afternoon In Paris is a 1949 composition by John Lewis. It is a staple of jazz repertoire, and a great tune for beginner's to start learning about 2-5-1 chord progressions.

In this video, you will learn how to play the melody, chords, and several easy ways to improvise over this tune. Jazz is for everyone! I try to break down the harmony into approachable, simple ideas that anyone can play. I thoroughly hope you enjoy this lesson and learn something from it.
