On October 18th, our St. Francis of Assisi Parish organized a pilgrimage to The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, taking three full buses to visit the Basilica. The trip included Fr. Lynx Soliman and was a moment of great emotion, faith, renewal of faith, and prayers to the Virgin Mary.
The trip began in Ridgefield Park, where the Parish is located, and headed towards Washington, taking the parishioners on a fun journey where they could make friends and get closer to their community.
Upon arriving at the Basilica, we were greeted by Bishop Michael A. Saporito and Bishop Manuel Cruz, and by Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin himself,
a magnificent welcome upon arrival at the Basilica!

The Basilica is a place of much prayer, faith and gratitude, full of works, lots of art and many beautiful images, if you are Catholic, you need to visit the Basilica! After the visit inside the Basilica, Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin celebrated a mass that brought together priests from various parishes, it was truly a beautiful and very blessed pilgrimage.
