Today we venture through the Alton Towers Gardens, ride Thirteen, Rita and the Runaway Mine Train before heading home.

DISCLAIMER: In accordance with guidelines in England at the time of filming (where Gary and I both reside), we are now part of the same support bubble (household). Single adults who live by themselves (me/Adam) can join another household to create what is called a 'support bubble.' Members of a support bubble/the same household, do not have to social distance.

Both of our living situations and comfort levels have made this vlog series possible. Of course, not everyone will have the same considerations as us and guidelines are changing regularly and by region. With this in mind, please note information and opinions shared in this vlog may change and that we are both exercising caution and doing what we personally feel safe and comfortable doing, in bringing you new content. These are tricky times to navigate and I recommend only doing what you feel comfortable doing, based on your personal circumstances.

In today's vlog, we awake in our Big Pyjama Room (themed suite) from what was a lovely night's sleep. We then check-out and drop our stuff off at the car before venturing into Alton Towers park via the hotel guest gate, just before the park officially opens.

Once inside, we journey down into the Gardens and across into the Dark Forest section of the park. Whilst in this area, we ride Thirteen, Rita and then make our way back round the park. We stop-by the Runaway Mine Train for a ride before then making our way out of the park.

Overall, we had a great time visiting the park but were in need of some rest after the day prior. I'd recommend going mid-week as we did, since we felt the crowds were low and well managed with social distancing being observed the majority of the time.

Thank you so much for watching this mini-series and those of you lucky enough to read this all the way through, may be excited to know we have a Center Parcs series coming next week! 🥳 But that's our little secret. 😉 Let Gary and I know you know by commenting 'Squirrel' in the comments. 🌲

I'm Adam Hattan, a family-friendly certified who focuses on bringing you family friendly videos that are fun for the whole family to enjoy (parental guidance is always recommended for all videos). I film on a canon G7X Mark III (3) compact camera. Whilst this camera does have some focussing issues (normally depending on the lighting), I do like the quality, ease of use and how compact it is.
