Here's this video showcasing the new special stages present in the Encore Mode DLC of Sonic Mania Plus.

The easiest way to retry these Special Stages is entering the Special Ring in Flying Battery Zone Act 1, exiting to the Main Menu of Sonic Mania after you complete said stage (or fail), then reenter FBZ Act 1. Rinse and repeat. Or if you're on PC, use Retro Engine V5 and cut on the down time. :3

I'll be honest, I've had the most trouble with Special stages 1, 2 and 7. 3-6 were pretty easy compared to those, at least IMO.
