One scorching afternoon, the washerman and his donkey were on their way to the river. The sun was blazing, and the heat was unbearable for both of them. The donkey struggled with the heavy load of clothes and suddenly stumbled into a deep pit.

The washerman was frantic when he saw his beloved donkey trapped in the pit. He tried his best to pull the donkey out, but the donkey was too weak, and all his efforts went in vain. Seeing the washerman's struggle, some villagers came to help, but even they couldn't rescue the donkey.
