The RTX 3080 Mobile benchmarks are here and the results indicate it might be able to replicate the performance of the RTX 2080 Ti, which would be a dream come true for all laptop users — from gamers to animators and professional video editors.

It remains to be seen if laptop manufacturers will be able to tame the RTX 3080 Mobile and the powerful RYZEN 5000 and Intel Comet Lake-H & Tiger-Lake-H that will come paired with the next-generation of laptops. Some laptops will feature the 3080 Max Q, whereas others with beefier cooling systems will most certainly pair the 3080 Max-P variant with the 5900HX for what is expected to be the best experience.
