Exclusive Interview with Glenn Benton from Deicide

Florida's Death Metal demi-gods Deicide have recently released their 13th album 'Banished by Sin' on RPM Records.

Formed back in 1987 originally under the names of Carnage and Amon but later changed their name to Deicide. The band released their debut album back in 1990 as a self titled release for Roadrunner Records. This iconic album set the bands career in stone and with further albums such as 'Legion', 'Once Upon the Cross', the band went from strength to strength.

Glen Benton frontman for this cult Satanic Death Metal band has been making music that is intense and furious.

I managed to chat with Glen about his influences, and also what make of bass guitars he has used throughout his career so far.

We also talk about the new album 'Banished by Sin' which takes you back to the early days of their career.
