WBP ও KP নিয়োগ পরীক্ষার্থীরা আগামী ১০ ও ১১ জুলাই এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মেইল ক্যাম্পেইন শুরু করতে চলেছে।
লক্ষ্য – দীর্ঘদিন আটকে থাকা নিয়োগ পরীক্ষাগুলোর তারিখ দ্রুত ঘোষণা করা হোক।

Respected Madam,

With due respect, I write to you as one of the lakhs of candidates whose future remain uncertain due to the delay in key police recruitment processes in West Bengal.

At present, the ongoing recruitment processes for KP SI 2023, Warder 2023, WBP Constable 2024, KP Constable 2024, and WBP SI 2024 remain pending.

It is understood that these delays are primarily due to the ongoing legal matter concerning the OBC reservation policy.

In light of the above, I humbly request your kind intervention to:

1. Place before the Hon’ble Court that the application processes for all five police recruitment notifications were completed prior to the Calcutta High Court judgment dated 22nd May 2024. Therefore, candidates from the OBC category (aged 30+) who availed age relaxation have already benefited, and as per legal principles, benefits once derived cannot be revoked.
Reference: Calcutta High Court Judgment dated 22nd May 2024 (Page 183, Point 344).
According to the interpretation of Point No. 344, the judgment may not directly affect the ongoing police recruitment processes; hence, the recruitment process may be allowed to continue.
I kindly request that this issue be urgently presented before the Hon’ble Court for clarification or direction during the expected hearings — Supreme Court on 15th July and Calcutta High Court on 16th July — so that the recruitment processes may resume at the earliest.

2. Consider exploring a legally viable and judicially compliant alternative mechanism that would enable the continuation of these recruitment processes without violating any existing court orders.

Over 10 lakh candidates are affected by this prolonged uncertainty. Further delay is leading to increased mental and physical stress, along with age-limit complications, and may significantly impact performance in the Physical Efficiency Test (Running) due to reduced fitness over time.

Moreover, timely completion of these 16,600+ ongoing vacancies (Warder, SI, Constable) will significantly contribute to strengthening the State Police Force and ensuring public safety as soon as possible.

We sincerely hope this matter will receive your urgent attention and that necessary steps will be taken at the earliest to resolve it.

📌 এই ক্যাম্পেইনের সময়সীমা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে মাথায় রেখে যে –
🔹 ১৫ জুলাই সুপ্রিম কোর্টে OBC সংরক্ষণ সংক্রান্ত মামলার শুনানি রয়েছে,
🔹 ১৬ জুলাই কলকাতা হাই কোর্টে এই সংক্রান্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মামলা রয়েছে।

বর্তমানে যেসব নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়া আটকে আছে –
🔸 KP SI 2023
🔸 Warder 2023
🔸 WBP Constable 2024
🔸 KP Constable 2024
🔸 WBP SI 2024

এই পাঁচটি নিয়োগের আবেদন প্রক্রিয়া ২২শে মে ২০২৪-এর কলকাতা হাই কোর্ট রায় প্রকাশের পূর্বেই সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

এই রায়ের পৃষ্ঠা ১৮৩, দফা ৩৪৪ অনুযায়ী, যেখানে বলা হয়েছে যে, এই রায় আগেই সম্পন্ন হওয়া নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়াগুলিতে সরাসরি প্রভাব ফেলবে না। ফলে এই নিয়োগগুলি চালিয়ে যাওয়ার পথ আইনসম্মতভাবেই খোলা থাকতে পারে।

আমাদের বিশ্বাস, কোর্টে শুনানির আগে যদি আমরা সকলে মেইলের মাধ্যমে এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়গুলো সরকারের দৃষ্টিতে তুলে ধরতে পারি, তাহলে রাজ্য সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে শুনানির সময় আদালতের সামনে এই যুক্তিগুলি উপস্থাপন করা সম্ভব হবে।

তাই আমরা WBP ও KP নিয়োগ পরীক্ষার্থীদের পক্ষ থেকে সরকারের কাছে আবেদন জানাব –
এই বিচারাধীন পরিস্থিতিতে যেন চলমান নিয়োগগুলি দ্রুত চালু করার জন্য আইনসিদ্ধ ও বিকল্প পথ অনুসন্ধান করা হয় এবং আদালতের কাছে এই যুক্তিগুলি যথাযথভাবে উপস্থাপন করা হয়।

এই দীর্ঘ বিলম্বের কারণে প্রায় ১০ লক্ষ পরীক্ষার্থী মানসিক চাপ ও বয়স সীমা সংক্রান্ত সমস্যায় পড়ছেন।
শারীরিক দক্ষতার পরীক্ষার (PET) দিক থেকেও দীর্ঘ অপেক্ষা শরীরিক ফিটনেসে প্রভাব ফেলছে।
অন্যদিকে, ১৬,৬০০-এর বেশি শূন্যপদ পূরণ হলে রাজ্যের পুলিশ বাহিনীর শক্তি বাড়বে এবং সার্বিক জননিরাপত্তাও নিশ্চিত হবে।

তাই এই মেইল ক্যাম্পেইনে সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশ নিয়ে চলমান সমস্যা সমাধানে ভূমিকা রাখুন।
