At approximately 7:00 PM on October 27, 2022, Scotch Plains Police responded to reports at the Delta gas station (2040 Route 22) involving a 2004 Mercedes and an alleged attempt to strike two individuals.

Officer Damian Serafin located the vehicle shortly thereafter, and a police pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended near LifeStorage in Mountainside, New Jersey.

The driver, identified in records as Quanirrah Foster (34), was taken into custody. Officers reported combative behavior during the arrest and throughout subsequent processing.
