What an incredible lunch! We were fortunate to meet Burnt Ends' very own Chef Dave Pynt, albeit briefly, and his CMO at the top of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore at a Sky High event that he and MeatSmith were cooking at. His CMO and I got to chatting and he said he'd organize a seat for us any time at the MICHELIN Star restaurant. And that is how we got A-list seats right in front of the great man himself this day at Burnt Ends, voted one of the World’s Best 50 Restaurants.

Amazingly the menu changes every day. So you'd likely be surprised if you went two days running.

You can't not be impressed by the 4 tonnes in weight ovens that are burning hot and charring and roasting constantly. This is the flavour generator. Umami ovens.

But also to sit in the kitchen. You are literally a foot or so away from the action unfolding before your eyes. Watching the prep, cooking, carving, plating and serving right there at touching distance away. It is super engaging. Food Theatre at its very best.

I cant wait to see the Burnt Ends Menu in 2022!!

You'll see a recipe I did in the channel from when I had the amazing fortune to get my hands on a dry-aged steak from Chef Dave Pynt. It was one of the David Blackmore OP Ribs too, the very one we ate today.
