In this video, I’m going to discuss 5 reasons why you SHOULD NOT buy a house and what you should do about it.

Buying a house is considered 'the dream' for many people.

Luckily, the Calgary real estate market has been more affordable than the other cities in Canada with cities like Toronto and Vancouver home median prices breaching the $1 million dollar threshold.

However, buying a home is still a big financial decision despite the relative affordability and mortgage interest rates being at an all-time low.

As of making this video, most of the markets across North America is still in the seller’s market because inventory is tight and demand is high, even here in Calgary, Alberta.

Now, it may even seem odd that a Realtor (whose main job is to help people find homes and sell homes) is telling people not to buy a house.

BUT…there are reasons behind my decision to advise against buying a house which I will discuss in the following video.

Sometimes, homeownership just isn’t for everyone becomes it comes with greater responsibilities and costs.

We want to avoid the temptation of buying a home simply because rates are low because of the factors I will discuss in the video.
