Cycling the Loire à vélo route from Nantes to Tours | Euro Bicycle Tour

The Loire Valley was a route we'd always talked about cycling, since we'd started out going in the wrong direction, we would now be able to cycle along the Loire river and also get to visit our friends in Bittany (Bretagne). To save a bit of time we took a train from Rennes to Nantes then got onto the big Loire cycling route as we passed Angers, Saumur and then eventually Tours. It's a fantastic route for people new to bike touring, loads of campsites and nice facilities along the way that make it perfect for cyclists. We were early in the season so practically had the route to ourselves.

In 2018 we did our biggest bicycle tour from Paris to Athens over 6 months. It was a big adventure that we'll never forget, this series documents the trip as we travelled across Europe on big badass fully loaded touring bikes.
