There is a new leak that Ewan McGregor will be reprising the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in an upcoming Disney movie. The announcement is rumored to be happening on May the 4th as one of the special Disney Star Wars /Lucasfilm announcements. Kathleen Kennedy has gone on record saying that it is unlikely Kenobi will get a 2nd season, and now the show has been labeled as the "complete series" on the blu-ray/4K physical media sets. However, a movie "could" happen, though it doesn't make a lot of sense as fans were majorly disappointed with the writing and choices of Lucasfilm for the Kenobi series.
