What are core principles and why are they important?

Here at Matt Smith Real Estate Group we have 4 Core Principles... These core principles are our non-negotiables.

Principle = LAW

All of our decisions are principle-based... not emotion or personality based... but principle-based.

The reason we have these principles or laws in place isn't because we want to micromanage or to have another policy...

It's because our mission is very clear.

We know who we are going to help, and how many people we are going to help, and we know the lives we are going to change... We want to do accomplish that with the people who believe in our mission and are executing within these principles.

#1 - PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

"I cannot change what I do not own"

Personal Responsibility says I own every outcome of my life, my business... anything that comes In my way way. It's a firm belief that you control the controllables.

#2 - COMMITMENT

It's either DONE or NOT DONE.

Commitment is important in any industry... but it's ESPECIALLY important in Real Estate. If you're not committed in this business it will eat you up 😬 (we know it's brutal... but it's true).

The failure rate is real... BUT if you show up every day, show you're disciplined and follow through on your commitments - you'll achieve more than you ever thought possible.

#3 - ACCOUNTABILITY

The highest form of love.

There are so many people who run away from accountability in today's society. They feel judged or threatened... but the TRUTH is that any successful person out there has embraced and ran TOWARDS accountability because they know it will better who they are as a person at the end of the day.

#4 - CONTRIBUTION

If you want to keep what you have, give it all away.

Think about it like a bank... if you go to the bank trying to withdraw $10,000 having never deposited money into an account they are going to look at you like you're crazy!

Culture and the world is the same way. You reap what you sow. Contribute freely, unafraid, to better those that are around!
