A few months ago, a number of DB90s were stood down as a result of the trackwork and OLE remodelling work going on at Carstairs and four remained in active status. 90035 in DB Cargo was one of those stood down, alongside 90019, 90020, 90024, 90029, 90034, 90036 and 90037. Despite that, 90035 went out briefly a couple of months ago on 0Z22 duty covering for Donald Malcolm (90021)

   • 0Z22 - DB90s - 90035 "CB Hall" taking over...  

With Bill (90028) and Bumblebee1 (90026) having been dispatched to Scotland ahead of what appears to be a return to MALCOLM on 4M25 tomorrow, so, it seemed like either Donald (90021) or Backbone (90039) got the nod. In the end, neither did.

This could indicate a return to action for other DB90s, starting here with 90035
