Brad Fiedel — The Terminator (Nicolas Winding Refn Presents via Milan Records, 12" Vinyl, 2016)

Following on the success of the Robocop reissue, Nicolas Winding Refn and Milan Records presents the vinyl reissue of the original score to James Cameron’s sci-fi thriller classic The Terminator supervised and mixed by Brad Fiedel himself.

In early 90's when I first saw the flick I was just a young, impressionable kid wanting to cop Schwarzenegger’s haircut, but I immediately fell for the soundtrack, because I was already an absolute fool for 80’s synth music and industrial aesthetic. Fiedel's sublime nocturnal neon passages are today pieces that have nothing to prove.
