Global pharma giant AstraZeneca has admitted that its COVID-19 vaccine developed by researchers from the Oxford University and manufactured by the Serum Institute of India can cause a rare side effect of blood clotting and low platelet count. Senior virologist Dr Shahid Jameel joined us on the latest episode of We The People to explain the concerns regarding the Covishield vaccine. He stated, "No vaccine is 100% safe or 100% effective".
