10.10.20 | 4:29 AM | SAN DIEGO - The residents told us they woke up, due to a loud crashing sound. Their animals were running and acting scared.
They went into their backyard, and discovered that a male had driven his Jeep through their fence and into their pool. The driver got out and was incoherent. Firefighters arrived and kept watch over the male until the Police arrived. The wife of the male was already at the scene and told the firefighters that she had been out looking for her husband, and tracked his phone to Silver Wing Park. Witnesses told us he was sitting in the Jeep in the park on the grass when 2 females approached him. They exchanged some words and the driver accelerated through the park and went through the fence and into the pool. The driver spoke to the Police and refused to do any of the field sobriety test and was arrested on the suspicion of DUI.
