When people first look at this bracelet in person, they think it is made out of smaller rubber bands but this technique makes it so each band is twisted and looped twice, making it half as thin as a normal fishtail. It is the same thickness as the classic single double capped band but it is cleaner because it looks like a fishtail.

We used original rainbow loom bands and they seem to work the best for this design. We also have used limited edition bands, but they are slightly thicker and do not thin out as much as the original bands.

Colors used in the rainbow are: Red, Pink, Orange, Neon Orange, Yellow, Neon Green, Lime Green, Teal, Turquoise, Ocean Blue and Purple

To calculate how many bands you need for this bracelet, take the length of your wrist in inches and multiply it by 6.5.
