Mohammad Syfkhan is a Kurdish/Syrian Singer and Bouzouki player. Since arriving in Ireland, Mohammad has used the language of music to integrate into the local community by playing at private parties and concerts. Today, Mohammad's music serves as a cultural bridge between the Kurdish community in Ireland and the local population. Mohammad’s own brand of ecstatic music takes elements from Middle Eastern and North African music to create an atmosphere of joy, love and happiness. His debut album 'I am Kurdish', released in February via Nyahh Records, has been met with critical acclaim.

Bring Your Own Lunch is a series of lunchtime gigs where musicians are invited to perform in front of a hungry audience. Organised with local music promoter Jack Brolly (Lower Your Expectations, Féile ne Gréine), BYOL is recorded at Piquant, Limerick City.
