A remake of the real-time strategy game Age of Mythology has been released, called “Age of Mythology: Retold” (2024). I compare it with the remaster from 2014, the so-called Extended Edition. This remaster was a new edition of the original from 2002, but I was unable to get the original version to run on Windows 10.
Graphically Retold is definitely better than the Extended Edition. In terms of gameplay, however, there is hardly anything new. What do you think?
