Описание к видео Resilience: What One Veterans' and Advocates' Organization is Doing to Help Afghanistan

It's been one year since the Taliban seized Afghanistan, but the mission is not finished. Operation Recovery stands by those who fought beside us over the last 2 decades, and who were promised a life lived in safety.

Our team of 150+ volunteers includes Special Operations veterans, intelligence specialists, medical professionals, immigration experts, refugee organizers, and passionate advocates around the world. We worked shoulder-to-shoulder with Afghan men and women -- often saving each others' lives. What started as a sprint to evacuate our former colleagues in August, 2021, quickly became a marathon... And we're still running that marathon -- we are tracking more than 7,500 at-risk Afghan allies in hiding, still trapped behind enemy lines and waiting on the U.S. Government to fulfill it's commitment to them.

To date, Operation Recovery has evacuated 3,500 men, women and children at high-risk of Taliban execution; connected a further 700+ to U.S. Department of State relocation teams; and has provided life-saving humanitarian assistance to more than 2,500 Afghan allies in need over the last year.

Winter is coming, and we need your support to keep these brave men, women, and children alive. Join Operation Recovery and back our efforts to help allies of the United States, and the Veterans who are supporting them: https://operationrecovery.org/donate/
