Irving is a Texas city just northwest of Dallas. The Irving Arts Center offers changing art exhibitions, outdoor installations, theater productions and concerts. Dominating the center of Williams Square is Robert Glen's “Mustangs of Las Colinas," a bronze sculpture of 9 wild horses galloping through water. The faithfully restored Ruth Paine House Museum explores the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Irving is a city in Dallas County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Mid-Cities region of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and is an inner ring suburb of Dallas. Irving is noted for its racial and ethnic diversity. The city had a population of 256,684 according to the 2020 United States Census, making it the twelfth-most populous city in Texas, and the 87th most populous in the U.S. Irving includes the Las Colinas mixed-use master-planned community and part of the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
