Earlier this year, life on our farm changed in a big way.

After years of working side by side on the property, Clancy returned to full-time work off the farm. It’s been a big adjustment, and a new chapter for us here in the Gold Coast hinterland.

This video is part of a short introductory series where we’re catching you up on our story so far — from restoring our farmhouse, to building a tiny house for guests, and now navigating this new rhythm of life.

The footage was filmed in our dahlia patch at peak bloom last season, where we grow over 100 Café au Lait dahlias each year for location shoots. That season marked our 6th year growing dahlias, and now we’re gearing up to begin planting again for the next one. The rows of flowers bring the backdrop to life as I share how things have shifted for us — a reminder of why we love slow, seasonal living so much.
