I read so many stories that people couldn't connect this synth to their mac and have it work with the usb out but thankfully I found a video and worked really well for me. I was able to record both audio and midi. I only used the audio for this song because I liked the way it came out and didn't need to mess about with the midi data. BUT it's really nice to have especially if I want to add other instruments etc. Or go back at a later date. It's really cool.
