What is a JUST BECAUSE book? | These LITTLE BOOKS Changed My CREATIVE PROCESS

You might have heard the term JUST BECAUSE book and I thought I would share a few of mine and the story behind them. See I am a recovering perfectionist which means I was all about following the crowds and the rules and trying to not just do what everyone else was doing, but to do it PERFECTLY.

And you know what happened? It took all the fun out of creating. Everything was a struggle and nothing made me happy. Not until the day I gathered up a bunch of scraps of fabric and threads and lace that were piled on a corner of my desk and I turned them into a little book. Not a journal to write in or an art journal or a gift or an anything. Just a little book made from little scraps that gave me a pocket of joy.
