Cette chanson a toujours été l'une de mes préférées de Kate Bush, avec une belle mélodie sur une progression d'accords magnifique. J'ai demandé à mon pote claviériste Fred White s'il voulait enregistrer le piano et quelques synthétiseurs, et comme toujours, il a accepté. Son jeu est brillant. Curieusement, la genèse de ce projet remonte au milieu de la pandémie, et pour diverses raisons, je n'ai pas retouché la chanson avant l'été 2024. Catherine était un choix logique pour interpréter cette chanson, car elle est l'une des chanteuses les plus polyvalentes que je connaisse. Catherine peut chanter n'importe quoi, et son interprétation de "This Woman's Work" me donne des frissons tant l'émotion est présente. Bravo, chère amie, pour ta rigueur et ton beau talent.

This song has always been one of my favorites by Kate Bush, with a beautiful melody over a magnificent chord progression. I asked my keyboardist buddy Fred White if he would like to record the piano and some synthesizers, and as always, he agreed. His playing is brilliant. Interestingly, the genesis of this project dates back to the middle of the pandemic, and for various reasons, I didn’t revisit the song until the summer of 2024. Catherine was a logical choice to perform this song because she is one of the most versatile singers I know. Catherine can sing anything, and her rendition of 'This Woman's Work' gives me chills because of the sheer emotion she conveys. Bravo, dear friend, for your dedication and beautiful talent.
