The visuals for Divisions From The Start were contributed by Stanford based artificial intelligence researcher Robbie Barrat. He fed a few thousand examples of paintings into his AI software until it learned how to generate it’s own landscapes. The visuals sequentially morph these AI generated paintings together in a way that he describes as a "neural network dreaming”.
