RD8-20 Cordless Straightener Rebar Demonstration by Stainelec Hydraulic Equipment

Model RD8-20 cordless rebar straightener is built in Italy. This new RD8-20 cordless rebar straightener is a portable hydraulic tool designed for plant operators to straighten coiled wire material easily in the rebar processing industry. Edilgrappa specifically developed this rebar straightener for production and fabrication of rebar, round bar and wire products in the wire industry.

Being a cordless tool, the RD8-20 is extremely portable and easy to use without needing a hydraulic oil supply system to operate the straightener. The unit has a capacity to straighten bar & wire from 8mm - 20mm in diameter. To comply with OH&S, the operator can use the tool with a safety harness strap. The RD8-20 can also be used with a spring balancer system.

This portable rebar straightener is operated by a unique double acting hydraulic operation with a forward & reverse trigger switch. The tool is used extensively by steel wire and rebar companies in the Australian market including OneSteel, ARC Weldmesh and Ausreo. Stainelec is now supplying the RD8-20 cordless wire straightener to Alcoa in the US market for straightening aluminium wire material.
