Fitting 24" Pipe Like I Would On Test Day, Kinda... (Except The Hand Cutting Part...)

In this video I will be fitting up a couple pieces of 24" pipe. Test day style. Fitting pipe on test day is slightly different than fitting pipe on a pipe fabrication job. I will be squaring the bevels up so that my fit is perfect all the way around. It is a general practice on most pipeline jobs to test before every new job. So testing for pipeline welders is a common practice. I will also be hand beveling another piece of 24" pipe for a future weld. I will be beveling pipe without a beveling machine.
