This is a 2022 Gibson Les Paul 70s deluxe that i got to sound almost like a tele caster and absolutely nothing like slash. Here is a list of the updrades and tweaks:
1. Tonepro locking aluminum bridge w brass saddles
2. 550k cts pots (50s wiring) w nos sprague pio caps (0.010 neck and 0.018 bridge)
3. Swapped the magnets for throbak alnico V and wax potted them (they were microphonic). Also lowered the bridge pickup more so it doesn’t stick out so much (like a burst) I achieved this by inserting foam pieces in between the screws. Also flipped the neck pickup because i was trying to solve the out of phase issue in the middle position, it didn’t but i like how everything sounds so im gonna leave it like that.

I also not gonna touch the tuners or the nut because intonation and tuning stability is perfect but thought of the vintage style gotoh and nylon nut.
