We are warriors of His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor Haile Selassie I the 1st, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the conquering Lion of the tribe of Judah.

The day that masculine responsibilities will be bestowed upon me by my people,
I was nervous and excited, my mother always said to me not to let her down when my time comes."

"Becoming me and to be me is not easy,
The sounds of my elders who have groomed me always echo in my ears,
I'm the beating heart of my society,
Young children look up to me, mothers are proud of me,
And my fathers boast of me before other clans and tribes,
I'm a warrior, the soldier of my society...."
