WE FOUND THE FIRST TULIPS! 🌷 | Tulips in The Netherlands

When you think of the Netherlands, what are the first things that come to mind…? Yeah, tulips! Tulips are very popular in the Netherlands and in spring when the tulips are in bloom, they provide a sea of color! Last weekend we visited the Noordoostpolder (also the birthplace of Myra) searching for tulips, and… we found the first tulips of 2021! 🌷

There is even a real Tulip Festival in the Noordoostpolder: a beautiful car route has been mapped out. In the area, about 2000 hectares of tulips are planted every year. Together this yield nearly 1 billion sellable bulbs! For more information, check: https://tulpenfestival.nl/
