I am a sucker for these affordable imported, near hobby-grade RC cars that often come from different name brands but are all identical. I have two of these and 3 others from other brands. They usually have great looking scale bodies and while not officially licensed, they look sharp. This jeep is no different.

This RC is a crawler so its not supposed to be fast, however this moves at a good pace. I keep these inside only and set up obstacles for my kids to go over such as lumber, Lincoln logs, and similar. This holds its own. Now this is not comparable to a true hobby grade rc crawler, but those are multiple times the price of this. You could use this outside and go overlanding and light crawling, however you are going to be limited. If you dedicate this to an indoor car it will be great.

In my opinion, if I were to be interested in crawling outside, I would look for a 1/10 scale crawler which is hobby grade from one of the popular brands that can be found on here. The larger size would make it easier to go over downed branches and brush. Although they do make smaller quality rc's.
