Govt cuts petrol, diesel prices by Rs 2/litre across India, effective March 15

India's Petroleum Ministry on Thursday announced that prices of petrol and diesel in the country would be reduced, starting Friday, March 15, after oil marketing companies (OMCs) decided to revise prices across the country.
