I became obsessed with Punch-Drunk Love and I watched it on repeat for a few weeks. After watching it so often and becoming very familiar with all the aspects of the film I started to notice a lot of details that were very interesting. I learnt about this Superman idea online and found more details to add to it. I don't 100% believe this was the purpose of the film or if Paul Thomas Anderson had this in mind but I do find it very funny and interesting as a conversation point.
