Mia Nicholls: A day in the life | The Apprentice | Racing Post / PJA | Horse Racing

Mia Nicholls is one of the many star apprentices in the weighing room, and during the St Leger festival at Doncaster she allowed us into her life ahead of a big ride at the meeting.

Sam Hart joins Mia at her father Adrian's yard to watch her ride out and then take a tour of the yard. Then after a quick workout in the gym, he follows Mia to the races to talk about her big ride on the day.

Mia gives us a great insight to the day in the life of an apprentice jockey and lets us know who her best friends and inspirations are in the weighing room.
