He highlights that thousands of dog sterilizations are being carried out every year in a scientific, humane, and well-monitored manner. The city has made significant progress by strengthening its infrastructure- where earlier the capacity was limited to 25–30 dogs per day, it has now increased to 70–80 dogs per day, ensuring faster and more effective population management.

Dr. Yadav emphasizes that the programme is backed by a properly trained medical and veterinary team, ensuring animal welfare, safety, and adherence to established protocols. This structured approach is helping Jammu move towards safer streets while maintaining compassion for animals.

He also makes a sincere appeal to the public to come forward and actively participate, stressing that community support and cooperation are essential for the long-term success of the ABC programme.
