Isaias will make landfall tonight near the North/South Carolina border. The storm will move quickly to the northeast and move into Virginia Tuesday morning. Rainfall will turn much heavier from south to north by daybreak. Very heavy rainfall will occur in central and eastern Virginia through mid to late morning. Rainfall totals in excess of 4 inches will be possible, and a flash flood watch is in effect.
