Welcome to the first episode of our new series - Spiti


We are excited for this as we stayed here for almost a month.

Our journey started early morning from kalka as we have arrived in kalka a night before.

We reached shimla around 10-10:30. Didn’t stop much as it was a lockdown. 


For lunch we stopped in Rampur and had our lunch in the car as dine in options weren’t open at that time.

 

We took a night halt at Kalpa as heading direct to kaza isn’t recommended.


In Kalpa we stayed at Echor- The Alpine Crest hotel. Very few hotels were open. 


Next morning we had our breakfast and headed towards Kaza. 

But first we stopped in Reckong peo for Feul refilling and got some cash from the ATm. 

Till Kaza you won’t any facilities now. 


Stopped at Nako for lunch. Nako wasn’t open for tourists but a few shops outside were open for lunch or some snacks.


Kaza is 4 hours from Nako. 

Spiti valley actually starts from Sumdo and we had to show our documents and rtpcr report at the check post. 


We kept stopping for pictures on the way as this place is out of this world. Reached Kaza in the night , check in at our property and slept.
