This is a GeneratePress WordPress theme review which I’m now using on my blogs. I was using the Atahualpa theme but they haven’t updated to a responsive theme yet, so I had to look for a new theme.

I decided on the GeneratePress theme for this blog is and I absolutely love it! It’s a free theme which you can install right from your WordPress dashboard. It’s also easy to customize without knowing any html or css.

The GeneratePress people have made this theme available for free, but you can buy some add-ons for just a few dollars that make it even more customizable.

For example, I bought one add-on that allows me to disable certain elements inside the theme so I can create my own landing pages without having to use the WordPress Editor and mess with the style sheet.

The layout options are fantastic. You can set it up with left or right sidebars, two sidebars on one side, or no sidebars at all.

You also have up to five footer widgets that you can set up too. This is great for banner ads or special callouts you might want to use on your blog.

I really love this theme because it’s a lot easier to use and customize than the Atahualpa theme I was using. Plus, it’s lightweight and responsive and my site loads a lot faster now too.

This theme worked great for two of my other blogs too, and I’ll be using it to update one of my husband’s blogs.
