How We Practice Hospitality As A Young Family // Budget Dinners, Hosting Guide, Kid-Friendly Ideas

Today we are going to be telling you how we do hospitality in our home. We will share some of the bigger reasons why we value hospitality and what has gotten us to this place. Since Katie is the keeper of the home, she bears the brunt of the work when it comes to hospitality and practical duties that are necessary. Teamwork and being on the same page as a couple is crucial to making it an enjoyable experience.

If hospitality doesn’t come naturally to you right now or it does not sound fun, enjoyable or rewarding, this is an area that we can all grow in. We are prone to be selfish with our time. When you look at what God has placed us here on earth for, it is such a bigger mission than us and our evenings. In God’s plan, He has told us to be hospitable, encouraging and to equip one another.

Our family is the first place where we practice hospitality. This is so important because our children and husbands know if we only turn on the candles, music and good discussion for everybody else. Hospitality at the very, very beginning of it are just to our families and in our homes. It can continue to grow and grow from there.
