How to Optimize Transducer Placement on Your Boat During Installation

Описание к видео How to Optimize Transducer Placement on Your Boat During Installation

Transducer placement is extremely important to mark fish at speed. Transducer placement and mounting is the most critical step to sonar performance, but is given the LEAST
amount of attention by most boat owners. Improper transducer placement can lead to false readings on your fish finder from bubbles from your props turning. Each boat is going to have a different optimum placement for the transducer but try to avoid rivet lines, drains and chines on your boat. This video shows my Humminbird transducer installation on a Ranger 600 series Boat.

Transducer Installation, no matter who performs it, will NOT be perfect
the first time! To get the best performance from your fish finder, the transducer must be installed, the boat ran, the transducer
moved slightly and the boat ran to see the new results. Continue until you
have the BEST installation location and height to mount your transducer.
