Rega Planar 3 50th Anniversary Edition | Unboxing & Demo | Expressive Audio

In this video we unbox and take a listen to the newly released, limited edition Planar 3 that Rega have unveiled to celebrate their 50th Anniversary.

Developed to maximise the performance of the legendary Planar 3, and available in the hugely popular walnut effect finish, the 50th Anniversary Edition is supplied with a hand-tuned Neo PSU Mk2 and factory fitted Rega Exact moving magnet cartridge, with a reference drive belt and custom CNC'd aluminium drive pulley as used on the Planar 6. Topping it all off is a custom aluminium lid and plinth badge, with a smoked dust cover.

And at just £899, this represents a saving of £269 compared to buying the separate components, essentially meaning you get a free Neo PSU (a worthwhile upgrade over the standard power supply) and a discounted reference drive belt, not to mention the unique 50th Anniversary badging.

This will be available to order from your local Rega retailer from now until December 2023. After that it will become a rare collector's item!
