Andrew Pledger is a writer, activist and a religion recovery coach as well as the host of the podcast Speaking Up With Andrew Pledger. Only a year ago, he was immersed in the IFB church and the university which that church was inextricably linked.

When the University discovered that he had been talking publically about religious trauma and being secretly gay, the anti-LGBT college expelled him. This is his story.
