My first ever LED poi performance with a live band and it happened right here in my hometown of Appleton, Wisconsin.
This wasn’t just my first time spinning ‪@UltraPoiYT‬ with a band. It was my first time ever performing at a festival, my first VIP pass, my first free entry as an artist, and my first time sharing the stage with a headlining act. A whole stack of firsts rolled into one unforgettable night.
I took the stage with ‪@Ifdakar‬ at ‪@icedancemusicfest‬ , one of the only winter festivals like this around. Bright lights, heavy bass, cold air, and glowing LED poi trails carving color through the dark. Performing live with a full band completely changed the energy and pushed my flow to a new level.
What made it even better was having my family there to see it. My brother, his wife, my sister, and my step sister cheering me on from the crowd made this moment feel full circle.
