Thought with the GQ cover shoot in Woodstock and with Timothée being cast as the lead in that Dylan biopic “Going Electric” that is now officially on the COVID back-burner in Hollywood, I’d share a little comparison video I made. All credit for the source material goes to Bob Dylan and GQ, as I’ve borrowed videos and audio from both of their channels to illustrate my point. I also do not own any of the photos displayed. "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere" is a cover version by Oscar Isaac due to copyright issues. But he's great so I hope you don't mind.

I’ve been a Bob Dylan fan before a Timothée Chalamet fan and am unsure how I feel about the necessity of a biopic for a man so larger than life. But I think Timothée is a great actor and I’m interested to see what he could bring to a role so large, if it ever happens.

So before all the boomers come after me, it’s all in good fun. A big shout out to those Bootleg release videos I drew from and @timhalchalz on twitter who made some of the initial comparisons/parallels with an old Dylan shoot. I think that’s it.

Felt the need to explain this a bit. I tried to go and keep some of the style of the original GQ video with audio placement and transitions, but I’m an amateur at best. Hope you enjoy!

I recently changed the video title to mark the new working title of the project. Hope it is still easy to find!
